Thumbs up ZunSport Grilles

There have been various discussions regarding mesh grilles for the 911, some of the best are hand made by ZunSport http://www.zunsport.com in the UK. I have them on my 2011 CAB (picture), they really keep the trash out of the radiators. Their quality is exceptional and support even better. They respond and ship to US within a few days. Mine arrived in 5 days. Installation about 15 minutes, no drilling or holes required...

How they are made: Porsche 997 Turbo Stainless Steel mesh front grille by Zunsport - YouTube

I am not associated with ZunSport in anyway, only an extremely pleased customer.

They are extremely easy to remove as they are held on by back clips. Clips are easily released with a flathead screw driver through the mesh.

and does the frame of the grill sit "inside" the paint or might it touch? I m considering that vibration could cause rubbing.... ? Thanks

The fit is extremely tight, with no noticeable movement, I have had mine on for about 9 months and off a couple of times, have found no vibration wear at all. There are no raw edges against bumper, very thing is polished and rounded. I am a rather aggressive driver, regularly driving on twisty mountain roads. Picture of my CAB in my post was taken on Tail of Dragon in NC/TN. 11 miles, 318 curves.

These grills are awesome....have had them on my C4S since this past April as I put in a 3rd radiator also....I got them in silver....was undecided on the silver or black since I hadn't seen any of them in silver and decided to be different. Regardless, they were easy to put on and have yet to remove them...not sure why I would anyway except to paint them black if I tire of the chrome

Grills

Last week,I had the Zunsport grills in Silver installed on my Dark Blue TT.
The contrast was horrible, took them off and painted them Satin Black the next day.

I would agree black is the safest color, particularly with dark colored cars. I had considered silver for my black cab, but felt it would be to glaring of a contrast. Glad you confirmed this.

Prior to installing the Zunsport grills 2+ years ago my 3 radiators (one center one for my TPC turbo) were clogged with cigarette butts, trash and the radiator fins were being bent back. Since the simple install, nothings got behind the grills and no worries about my radiators being destroyed by a random rock tossed up by a car or truck.
I also knew some folks who purchased high end chicken wire and made their own. This was talked about on this forum. They still looked like chicken wire!

Zunsport has superior quality and service for less money than the few other suppliers.
