Tarek,
Can you tell me what the final damage $ was, that led the insurance company to total the car?
I'm trying to understand how much $ of damage vs. the car's book value leads to a total, please.

i am so upset now that i didn't buy the car from insurance, could have bought it for $15k and fixed it for another 15k...i miss this car so much.. i feel now that i'm in car pergatory with my C250, even ended up buying a 2001 E39 M5 couple of weeks ago as a 2nd car for fun...while its a BEAST & amazing, its still not the 911

I have a 2013 C250 as well as a twin turbo V8 X5 but still grin when behind the wheel of the 911. The C is a great great car. It's economical and attractive and absolutely perfect for my girlfriend. A replacement for a 911 it is not.

Sorry for the loss. That 911 of yours was very sharp. You will get another one day.

Glad to hear you are ok. I agree with your assessment of the MB; I really like the new MBs for daily driver use. I have an 2014 E350 coupe, and it's a wonderful touring car. Of course, it's not a 911, but it was never intended to be a sports car.

Seller's remorse.

Tarek - start your search for the right Turbo 997. Prices are starting to approach what you paid for your 997S. You know you are coming back.

I have a 2013 C350 coupe for my daily driver. I bought it last February. Very nice car for going to work or taking trips, but it just didn't fill the need. I picked up my 2011 C4S in November and really enjoy both cars, but for different reasons and needs.

Love my C 250! Great gas mileage for commuting and sporty when you need it to be. With that said, I love my 911 more!

Tarek,

Are you telling us a C250 + M5 still not equal to a 997?

I think you need get back into P car, a Turbo.
