sounds pretty good, but the video cuts out a little early, don't you think? It was just getting good and then POOF. It's over.
I've never heard of the Fister D mod. Tell more.
It looks like the Gundo Hack -
is there a difference between the two?

Same thing. I believe Gundo is on the East Coast. Fister is in the Bay Area (Brentwood). If you are in the SF Bay Area, go to Fister. He usually have sets of mufflers in the shop pre-modded. You can drive in, do a swap and be out of there in an hour.

Got it, John- That's good info, thanks!
I'm in Corte Madera, so Brentwood would be easy. Also having donors to swap is genius.
I've been considering this, but was traumatized by a magnadrone experience with my old M Roadster. It was just too loud for too long, and ALL the time. (Relentless) - it had a great burble on down shifts, sometimes sounded like the Glory of God under acceleration, but was head splitting in the mountains, and for sure pissed off the neighbors most of the time, on top of that it made my girlfriend hate the car. It was not subtle, and there was no chance for a stealthy escape if needed.
I've got a 997.1 C2S Cab. Top down 98% of the time. I think the stock exhaust is loud enough when it needs to be, but I appreciate that it isn't too loud / I can hear the passenger, or the stereo on the freeway.
1. Do drivers who have this mod ever think to themselves, (even secretly, when no one can tell) "Ok. I would like to turn this down now." ??
2. Anybody around here (Marin) have this so I could hear it in real life?
3. How do you contact Fister D?

For me, never. I _almost_ think sometimes I want to turn it up. But then if it was always louder, I'd get wifey complaints.

Gundo was the original member to do the hack to his stock mufflers. Thus the gundo hack.
Darin Fister does this professionally. Looks great sounds even better.
If you have not done this it is strongly recommended
