Would these wheels fit on 997.2?
Hi, I recently got new tiers:
235/35 ZR19 (87Y)
295/30 ZR19 100Y
Car:
2009 Carrera S 3.8
and now I decided to get new wheels but don't want to waist the tires, I'm not an expert but I think they would fit these http://www.ebay.com/itm/390659504827...84.m1438.l2649 wheel that I like but I'm not sure if they do and I need your help to figure that out and if these wheel would fit my 997.2 in the first place.
also if some one have the knowledge about the "Rim Offset" thing a little explanation with the effect of getting a smaller or bigger number on the car fit.
to simplify:
1. will those wheels fit 997.2?
2. will my tiers fit those wheels?
3. What is "Rim Offset"?
Thanks all in advance

Who makes these wheels?
Can I suggest that is important.
The lister says the manufacturer part number is....."Aftermarket alloy rims".....so that's not encouraging, but it's your money.....but not enough money....if $800 (for 4) is what they are worth, you will get what you pay for....perhaps very little. Sorry, maybe someone else will recognize these as good wheels. I do not.

- They have the right bolt pattern so as long as the offset is not too small already, spacers can make them look good in most any case. My feeling is that custom wheels should be made to a desired offset w/out spacers....but no matter. The offset on these is ball-park OK....but you should do your own research and see a pic of what 45/67 would look like in your fender. An example would be....if you are looking for 50mm front and the wheels are 62, then a 12mm spacer will reduce the 'pushed in' 62 to 50.....by kicking the wheel out 12mm.
- Yes
- Offset or ET......simplest way to understand this is it means 'pushed in'......the larger the number, the more the rim is 'pushed in' relative to the fender line. A smaller or negative number is out further. This is an important spec for us that are **** about where fitments should sit in the wheel arch.....only 2nd to ride height.

To be honest I kind off goy that cheep feeling and I have no experience in after maket rims or any after market product, and I'm not sure about them, It would very very helpful if some one can share the "after market experience" with us here.
Thank you very much GreggT for your help and the information.
