New to me 2006 C4

Well after a foray in the Lambo camp for a while I am now back in a P-Car.

Picked this up last week, in Maine. Hell of a drive back to Burlington VT 240 miles of 2 lanes across the white mountains of northern New Hampshire and Green Mountains of Vermont. Reaffirms the "You can get there from here" line.

2006 C4

Already had a few nice Autumn drives here in Vermont.

Missed the flat6 and very light steering a bit, I will not miss the difference in $$$ jammed into my car!

That's 911 number 5 for me sprinkled with a few 944's and a 928 in there for good measure through the years.

Four wheels and winters coming no rest for this sled this winter!

And this is what I went off the reservation for, for a little while anyway......

I have to admit it was worth it!

On the way to 198...

Fortunately another day stopped for no front plate in Vermont...

Congrats and welcome back.
I was born and raised in the Burlington area (Shelburne to be exact). It's a beautiful place to be and I get back there as many times a year as I can. Left in the late 90's.
Great pics!

When and Why did the Automaster drop Porsche? That dealership is THE REASON why I have been dreaming about Porsche's since I was a kid. (Grew up in the neighborhood across the street). Jack Debrul and his new black turbo ever 6 months. LOL

I know Jack and all is sons. They just did not have the volume to sustain the demands of a Porsche dealership they replaced with Mini and now sell some 400 units a year compared to 20-30 Porsches. And all the accompanying service.

My guess is strictly financial.

Nice car GL! I also have an '06 C4 and its served me well. After a few years of driving, I got a little crazy and added a TPC turbo and some suspension bits. That made me like it even more. I've had the same missing front plate police experience as you as well - our cars look so much better without that front plate! Enjoy your C4!

lol- no front plate ticket in Vermont.

Because they didn't want to confuse your silver and black Lamborghini with the 1 or 200 OTHER silver and black Lamborghinis in your town. hahaha.

I grew up in NH. I remember getting pulled over once because the on coming police officer determined that my FOG LIGHTS were too low. The judge threw it out. He said he had no idea there was such a law, and that it's likely that his own fog lights could be too low!

Congrats on the new whip. The paint looks perfect.

Here's a nice shot of me getting my front plate ticket in SF a few weeks ago.

Note: The cop didn't have a front plate either.

Received my electric Hide-the-Plate two days ago. Problem solved.

Congrats again - enjoy!
