No $hit. In my book the button/remote is the "corvette" way. It's like the first thing EVERY corvette owner will show you..."and this button changes the exhuast!". WOW...now how about you paddle-shift me up to a 100!

I bought mine with Fabspeed X pipe and PSE already installed, so I have not driven without the X pipe. Let's just say when I first drove the car I was stunned at how good the car sounded. The video clips are SO hard to tell what a car actually sounds like, other than perhaps back to back sound level comparison. I know what mine sounds like and I have seen clips of my setup online and the clips do not do it justice. So I'm thinking some of these systems that sound GREAT on video must be insane in person. Mine is loud at a level where people know the car and say "I heard you when you turned into the subdivision or I heard you getting on it (a mile away) when you left. That said, if you short shift it and keep it below 3500 rpm you can still get around without it being obnoxious. One thing is for sure...these cars sound REALLY good when opened up. That clip of the Tubi and whatever 911bob has...good lord that's awesome! But...I'm not sure I want that in my regular runaround fun car...maybe in second fun car. Hope that helps. If you don't have the X pipe, that's an easy place to start and see what you think, you could unload that in a second if you ended up upgrading to a full system. From what I understand the X pipe IS what makes the PSE come to life.

I don't, I have a Tubi so different system, but the center muffler is deleted in the process as well. Love it.

I struggled for months in trying to decide what to do with my C2S. I finally pulled the trigger on an IPE 200 cell cat X Pipe. And I couldn't be more satisfied. The factory PSE is more than adequate and unless it failed, I would not consider the investment in changing it for an aftermarket. The X Pipe really woke this car up. The sound is truly exotic and what they should sound like from the factory. Not obnoxious, unless you want it to be. No drone at all. I have read story upon story of the Fab Speed X Pipe needing to be cut to fit the PSE, the IPE pipe fit like a glove. I would highly recommend to anyone interested.

Can anyone comment on the sonic improvement (more 'exotic' sound rather than volume) of the x-pipe alone v. the x-pipe with 200 cell headers (all Fabspeed)?

For a 2011 GTS w/PSE. Also, power gains on that motor?
