Have adaptive sport seats and they hurt

6'4' 220 and the left bolster was cutting into my hip. I bought a dense foam thick workout mat from amazon and an exact-color-matching pillowcase from the Beyond place. Traced out the middle seating section (to the inside edges of the bolsters), cut the foam to fit, my wife sewed the p-case to fit the foam and I now sit high enough so that the ride is now comfortable. The p-case matches the stone-gray interior perfectly, looks like it might be an accessory you could buy from AutoSport.
If one layer of foam isn't enough I would think 2 layers would do it, although headroom may come into play, have to put seat back maybe. Problem solved, and worth a try!

I'm 6'1" and a fat 300# and when shopping for the car eliminated the sport addaptive seats because the thigh bolsters and the shoulder bolsters were too restrictive and uncomfortable for me. Shoulder width is more about frame than weight but weight surely influence the width from outside thigh to outside thigh. If I was still the svelt 230# I was in college I'd possibly have opted differently, but suspect the shoulder bolsters would still have been an issue. So I went with normal adaptive seats.
I suspect you don't get a lot of complaints to be found because folks test out the seats and then get the ones that are comfortable for them. Life is to short to wear uncomfortable shoes or drive in an uncomfortable or boring car.

when wearing thicker/padded jackets i found the sport adaptive seats uncomfortable as well, and thats even with the thigh/back bolsters as wide as possible.
when wearing just a shirt/t shirt no problems.
i thought i would be the only one but the sport seats are a little too restrictive for a daily driver.

a Trade?
I actually have the standard seats in my '09 Carrera and have been looking for the sport adaptives. the standard seats are much flatter in the bolsters and would likely make your life easier.

If you think the adaptive thigh bolsters are too narrow, check out the seats on a black Edition gtr! Funny, I've owned 2 997 s with sport adaptives and I found one cars seats narrower than the other. Probably depends on the weight and size of the prior owner.
