Short list for purchase - first 911
I'm in the market for a Speed yellow coupe and short listed three cars. Ideally I like to have a loaded 997.2 C4S, MT.
For now I set the budget for my toy as: < 45K for 997.1 , < 55K for 997.2.
Wondering what will be better choice out of these three cars. I'm located in Northern Virginia and AWD may help little bit, I guess.

Comments: Beyond my budget..
All these three cars are sitting in for-sale market for around 6 months ...Which may help for negotiation.
So far I have test driven only one 2009C2S from a local dealer. I don't know how C4/C4S drives/handles etc..
I like to hear pros/cons, opinions/suggestions, which will help to make decision/negotiation to pick one from list or wait until the right car comes along(Loaded 997.2 Yellow C4S).
Also how low I can start the price negotiation ? Definitely will do indy PPI before commit to any car.
Thanks in advance.

I'd scratch 1, 2 and 3 and focus on the 997.2S. Upgraded interior and the new engine. I have negotiated details over the net but I have always picked up the car in person. Well worth the plane ticket. If it works you could also get a one way rental car. I did that once on a 94 3.6 turbo purchase from Isringhausen.

I've driven the 997 S and 4s and I really like the way the 4S drive and handles. The 4S really hugs the road no matter how hard you drive it. If I live in the mid west or east coast I'd prefer a 4S (not to mention the 4S also is the wide body). I'm in the process of parting with my 4S shortly. Just been too busy to drive it. Good luck with your search!

If the urge to wait becomes too much, in order #3, #1 then #2.
My two cents.

get a 997.2
The electronics are obsolete on both anyway. A 2014 Honda civic has more, but that is part of progress and technology life cycle.
However getting into a non DFI engine and less HP and less torque, (a matter of pleasure!!!) is unreasonable. Wait a little find a nice 997.2 and pull the trigger after doing your homework!
