Rear Window Defogger - CPO coverage??

My car is more or less pristine, so maybe I'm splitting hairs here? But my rear window defogger, the thin orange/yellow lines and perimeter, have rubbed off at the bottom of the window in the corners. It doesn't look horrible but I find it really draws my attention and is really the only indication it's a "used" car.

Would this be something CPO would cover?

Added a pic, hard to capture, but it's plainly visible in sunlight. It's the area right at the bottom to the sides of faint "PORSCHE" that's written in it. The logo is fine, just the edges look like they peeled away a little. So I guess it's not the defogger so much as the printed shading band around it coming off?

It's the area at the bottom, NOT the orange lines...the printed/shaded around the edge. Just looks sort of bad and aged. I've not had need to actually use the defroster.

I'll try to get a pic in sunlight. It's quite noticeable.

Yes, 2009 C2S Coupe.

Just curious if cosmetic stuff like this is covered under CPO?

I would run that past them.... Don t deny it yourself, let them. You have nothing to loose and I would tell them you are concerned it will only get worse. (which it probably will).
I m just suprised mine is not the same. Could something have been replaced on yours before?

Ya, I figured I would give it a shot at the dealer. Just wanted to go in "armed" if possible.

So your 09 997.2 doesn't have this?? Do you have the rear defrost?

Mine is different. It says PORSCHE and then there are black dots under the logo (not next to it like yours) across the bottom. and mine appears to be black dots only and I see no sort of what yours looks like. Unless your has gotten so bad ????

yes , rear defroster also.

Correction/ it is configured like yours, not as I stated above, but it does look just like blk dots. It appears your (decal) if that what it is has failed.

Looks to me like a decal with no purpose. So if they won t fix it I d remove it after you confirm what it is.

Looks like the tint was removed and pulled part of that up with it at some point.

Here is a pic in the light...again with the phone, making it look gray vs. black. Hella-buggin may be on to something. I can't imagine that even cleaning it with wand and microfiber bonnet would be enough to rub that off like that. Sorry...should have wiped the dust off a bit...
