does anyone have these with the carbon inserts starting to warp from exposure to the sun? and what are the options available to fix...?got to say they look really cheap-ish when they start to go.......

 

I've seen this happen on Turbos with the carbon defroster vent option, seems like a common issue for cars left in the sun. The carbon strip always seems to warp and lift with age. Best thing to do is simply replace with full leather defroster vents.

 

well, yeah, but for another grand I will pass on that...I am making an aluminum replacement for the carbon, we'll see how it turns out......
