I personally love the RS98. There is even a used set on eBay right now but they are powder coated black

Just please never do chrome wheels - gross. Stainless steel is fine though

Yes I know the Flow Formed wheels are a pretty good middle ground. They just don't look as good as the forged wheels on my list. Also I'm a little concerned about how they'll hold up given that they seem to be a relatively new technology.

Chromed is not my style

Well none of the wheels discussed here are made of steel. I don't much care for dark wheels, especially given my somewhat dark car. I like the idea of contrast, hence my preference for the polished aluminum wheels we've been discussing.

My personal favorites are the RS184. Can't go wrong with a nice 5 spoke wheel!

I like the RS171s, obviously. The RS98s look a little dated to me with their inset flat face. The rear RS171s with the curved spokes that start deep in the hub and work their way out to the face are just gorgeous. The fronts have the same design, but since they're narrower, don't have quite the same effect. They were as close as I could get to the wheels on the Champion race car which are hands down the most awesome wheels I've ever seen.

Black Champion

Yup, took that when I visited Tom in FL when wheel shopping for the RS171s. Here's a couple more pics of it.
