Anyone receive their 997S --X51--381hp?

What does it feel like compared to a standard S? Is the car much faster? Does it have just PSE or does it have a full sports manifold and sport cats?

I have it on order. The old X51 kit consisted of intake, heads, cams, ecu & exhaust. The official information from Porsche is vague but I think it is the same on the new kit.

I was interested in adding X51 but 16,900???? WTF? I'll be hitting up EVO, I'm sure the tuners are thrilled with Porsche's pricing on this package. If I really felt like I needed that kind of HP from the factory I would hold out and pay more for a GT3.

As I remember (from the previous X51) it also pushes the hp/tq curve up in the rev range as well giving you less usuable hp, unless you are racing on a track or something.

That is not the same case with current x51 which gives a noticeable boost in torque across the entire rev range.

Again, pricing is high thanks to PCNA...The option here in the Middle East is just over USD 10K....
My understanding is that the first non-PCA club cars with X51 will opnly be built as of September

what's your HP to dollar ratio Buddy at this point? I'm sure you and Craig are in deep. At least you're running 10's though

Here is the power band chart from the PCA Club Coupe Brochure.

Sorry, my image did not attach. I don't know why? Go this this site:

http://www11.porsche.com/all/transit...thanniversary/

click on enter sweepstakes; skip into; Club Coupe Technology.

This will show you the power band and comparison to the S
