Hi All ,
I'm driving a Carrera 4s 2010 997.2 .
When I press the car key and hold it for a few seconds the doors are open and the windows goes down .
When I press and hold again the car doors are closed but the windows stays down and won't go up .
I believe something is wrong , What could be the problem ?

No up feature on mine. It's normal not have the up.

 

I have a carrera cab s, I installed the smart top mod, it does what you are describing, mine opens and closes the top & windows, you can program it to do a bunch of things, you may have an aftermarket mod on it if you got your pcar used, I know 996's had that function, try using the key and turn it and leave it one side or the other on the driver door, it should do the same thing, open and close windows.

 

Its a piwis coding thing. Go to the dealer and have them code your car properly.

 

You can enable/disable up and down functions separately thru a durametric pro cable also, along with tying in moonroof/sunroof opening and closing.

 

US cars can't be sold with the 'auto up' option as to not decapitate pets and babies. An Indy or anyone with a Duratetric can code the car to do.

Are you $hitting me?? I read a lot of the remote stuff but I guess I missed this? So if I go out and hold my unlock button down for a few seconds the windows will go down!!??

Wheeler - I just tried, YEP, windows go down (but not going up).

 

Wait...is this with the keyfob remote or the internal button??

Okay, unless there is some button combo, mine is not doing it...up or down. If the car is locked, I'm just holding the KEY button down (for many seconds) and nothing...other than the doors unlock.

 

Mine does not do it....2011 C4S.
