I have an 05 997 and I am wondering first what is the light on the spoiler that raises up at certain speeds called? 2nd the light is just falling out only connected by the wire can you just buy the pieces for it to stay in?

 

If I understand what you are asking that would be the third brake light. When the spoiler is raised the fixed third brake light is blocked.

The third brake light is not it. This light is in the spoiler hidden when down and visible when the spoiler is up.

 

It is the 3rd brake light.
When the spoiler is up, it bypasses the 3rd brake light in the rear window.
It's one or the other. Not both
