I have been contemplating doing the Gundo Hack for the last couple years and finally I took the plunged. I took my 2009 C4S to my patient's Midas shop in Dunkirk NY. I gave them a photo of the hacked muffler, instructions and they said no problem. I pick up my car at the end of the day and when I fired up the engine it was pure sonic heaven. I wanted to kick myself for not doing this much earlier. I told them to use 2 inch pipe and the sound is just perfect. At 2000 RPM is normal but as the RPM inching towards 3000, it really growl. I also have the center muffler bypass installed since 2009 and that probably help too. Anyone around Buffalo wants to do the Hack, go to Midas in Dunkirk. You won't regret it.

nice! I did one last year on my car, in the area (East aurora area) on my 997.1 I was real happy with it, I might actually do this to the custom exhaust I had built (it's a bit on the quiet side)
