S4 or 4S

Looks like the S4 is better overall vehicle.
Not strange if you take everyday life into account, but on the race track...the S4 looks like a pig and 0-200 km/h BIG difference.

Audi / Porsche
Braking 100 km/h-0 36,2/37,0 m 34,2/34,2 m
Acc.: 0-100 / 0-200 km/h 5,9/22,7 s 5,0/16,5 s

I just test drove the S4... could not believe how little of a difference there was between the regular A4 and S4. I was really disappointed with the power, I would go with the 4S IMO.

I think the V8 is quite nice. A lot of power and nice sound.
Acceleration is a lot faster than the 2.0T for instance.
But consumption is just too high.

I have a 04 S4, I am happy with the car, plenty of power and comfort, doesnt handle like a GT3 though.

This one just came up

RS4 or 4S?

Audi RS4 vs. Porsche 911 Carrera 4S

The RS4 came quite close on the circuit and acceleration.

Seems the RS4 was on Pirelli P Zero Rosso, not Corsa.

I solved that dilemma:

2005 Audi S4 sedan (modded with Stratmosphere package tuned to 400HP with Milltek cats/downpipes, Oberscheider chip)
2005 996 Turbo S Cabriolet.

get both if you can
I only have the C2S but I do have the S4 with mods. These 2 are two different animals altogether. I don't know why people want to compare them, kind of like aplles and oranges......
anyway, crappy photo but our recent trip to pismo beach during labor day.
