Do 911 owners generally have a second driver.

On my part I have a ram for construction work and a s4 for the family and road trip ... A bit more comfortable for the kids compared the 2+2
A agree with previous comment about totally enjoying the 997s when you jump in it ( kind of missing it)

I do it all the time, pretty common around here.

^^^ First, you pick a grocery store in the next county which requires you to drive 45 miles one way of empty, twisty back roads. Then you make up a huge grocery list for the month and carefully break it down into frunk-sized increments. Then you systematically go through the list one run, er, load at a time. Ice cream requires a little additional speed, but turn the PASM off for the eggs.

My DD/grocery getter is a 2003 Chevy S-10 that I bought new over 11 years ago. Paid for, reliable, cheap to maintain, and slightly better gas mileage than my 911. People are usually surprised by the vast difference in my two vehicles and that I own a $2K truck along side my Porsche. Little trucks are just handy to have around. I wish they still made the S-10.

Corrado is the bad weather DD or going some where sketchy.
S4 for when its nice out, DD w/o chance of rain, don't feel like dealing with Corrado quirks on my commute.
997 for when I absolutely feel like enjoying the drive somewhere.
Of course non are stock or OEM ride height. LOL

Congratulations!
We already have an '06 STI that sits in the garage and gets absolutely zero use. In the last 2 years, it's had ~100 miles added to it. I don't even think the new clutch is properly broken in yet.
