How about a Carrera S with PCCB, X51, Full leather/Alcantara. Oh yeah a long list of extras too.

Sounds like mine, as a matter of fact I just looked it up. Awesome car! Like a NB GTS as someone said. Selling any time soon? I'd be interested for sure. Keep me in mind.

Hopefully I should be able to take some better pictures of it this weekend, but so far, I love it!

Ok Buzzkillington.

When I bought the most important thing to me was minimizing unnecessary options, keeping weight, complexity (and yes, cost) down. I then individualized my car by adding aftermarket performance options. A long list of factory options does not make a great sports car. As for the "unicorn" thing: yawn

Everyone drives an S and mine is a Carrera 911 C2, the neglected child overshadowed by its faster and well equipped siblings. Heck, it even had 18" wheels!

I upgraded (so I thought) her shoes with OEM lobster wheels and finding out they're the least desirable. So, Mine must be a UNICORN!

Nonetheless, I love my C2 with PASM and sport chrono.

Do you still have your club coupe? If so, do you ever plan on selling?

I've actually had an automotive journalist friend of mine call my car "Unicorn Rare" since it's a Targa 4S with a manual. His reference was that Targas were mostly "wives' cars" and as such, were almost all made with Tip transmissions. I'm sure there are a few others out there that are Guards red and manual. No one cares about the options list except when you're trying to buy/sell, IMO.

I don't know much about my options list and don't have the original sticker, but from what I have found via research just that I have a Sport Chrono, PASM, full leather and Porsche crests in the headrest (I bought CPO, so had no idea that was even an option people would pay for).

PM me your VIN and I'll try and get an option list for you.

yeah, still have it, the only one in my province.
it drives really well (as are all 997s), no plan to sell it as trade in price is probably only 50K or so.

Macadamia Brown Metallic cars are unusual, that's for sure. I've only seen one 997 turbo in that color aside from the one that I own. I don't think my car is a unicorn, but it's probably pretty rare given the color and the optional equipment. Here's what I've got:

342 Heated Front Seats
450 Ceramic Composite Brakes - PCCB
640 Sport Chrono Package Turbo
810 Floor Mats in Interior Color
9S Macadamia Metallic
CUJ Fuse Box Cover in Leather
CXD Door Entry Guards in Carbon Illuminated
P01 Adaptive Sport Seats
TG Sand Beige Full Leather
V5 Cabriolet Roof in Cocoa
XCZ Sport Shifter
XMP Leather Sun Visors with Lighted Mirror
XPA Thicker Steering Wheel - Leather
XSB Sport Seat Backs in Leather
XSC Porsche Crest in Headrest
XXF Red Taillights
XUV Storage Bin Lid with Turbo Logo
XDS Leather Covered Ignition Lock Surround
XDX Leather Covered Mirror Attachment Point Finishers
XDZ Leather Covered Gear Lever Trim
XME Rear Center Console Painted in Exterior Color
446 Wheel Caps with Colored Porsche Crest

Hmm... possible unicorn, black GTS MT with a few paint options most won't spring for:

Not worth $1B like a tech unicorn though!
