Advise on deck lid paint disaster

The turbo was fiberglass too. The first time the paint did not match and there was orange peel. The second time no orange peel but there is a thumb print in the clear and it still does not match. The shop said they will do it until I am happy but haw many times can the damn thing be repainted. Plus the grills are glued in and they are likely to get damaged in the process.

I recently had my Aero bumper and rear spoiler painted. The match is really close and most people would not be able to tell any difference. The "finish" of the paint is also almost identical to the factory finish.

So, they feathered it, correct? Feathering is the best way to fool 99.99% of the population that no respray took place.
Obviously, not even feathering can fool the eye if the colors being blended aren't even close (i.e., "you can't feather an off-white to white"). Trust me, I have seen work many times.
Darthy,
IMO, orange-peel is one of the basics of painting. Heck, I would have run away as soon as I saw orange-peel.
