$2400 PSE. Best sound by far. Bose and Becker don't sound half as pure.

There's nothing like a good exhaust note on a sports car.

Kinda bites considering most toyotas have leather seats now. I mean couldn't Porsche just put in some frickin leather seats?
But at the end of the day I would pay an extra 89K to keep this wonderful car.

Agree
Porsche should let the old 911 go out to pasture as a GT in the sunset years of its life and focus on the Cayman as the real future of Porsche sports cars.
Give it the TT engine and let's get all this sentimentality and false contraints over and done with. Porsche knows that a given the same engine in both cars that the Cayman would whip the *** of the 911.

The 997TT engine in a Cayman would truly be a supercar , assuming the suspenion, braking etc were upgraded to match the power. I wonder how long it would take to kill yourself in this animal.

My sister has a '04 Corvette- Lipstick Red (Jeep Cherokee & a Honda Civic). I always have to remind her that her Corvette is made by GM babe, parts fall off LOL!!! She made fun of my Boxster, but you should of seen her eyes when the '06 997 arrived. I RULE now... I think the new Corvette's 05-06's are really cooler looking for sure, and yes, bigger engines, but I wouldnt leave my Porsche, nada, no way..

If you are looking at HP only then buy a Mustang and use the extra $$'s for mods. You would be around 700 HP with a lot of change left over.
In 89' the 944 TurboS had the same 0-60 time as the 911 Turbo. They never made the 944 what it could have been with a 3.0l 4 valve turbo motor because they wanted to protect the 911. They will continue to do this with the Cayman and Boxster.
Of you do not want a GT then get the Cayman. I am sure it will be a spectacular performer. If you want the luxury of a true GT buy the 911. Performance is not the only measure of a car.
