Question GT2 Skirts

Ok, I'm reading mixed posts on the fitment of the GT2 side skirts.

Will they fit a C2 or not?

Please post only if you have them on a 2wd car (GT3/C2/C2S)....

GT2 skirts will not fit a C2, C2S, or standard GT3. They only fit the widebody cars...C4, C4S, GTS, Turbo, GT3RS, GT2

Per Suncoast:

GT2 Side Sill Kit

Direct replacement for the stock sills of wide-body cars, adds a subtle flair. This is a set, comes with the left & right sill.

Fitment (2005-2012):

Carrera 4 or Carrera 4S
Targa 4 or Targa 4S
Turbo
GT3 RS (2006-2008)

Guys, I know what they are MADE to fit, but there are people on rennslist that have them on narrow body cars. I don't know if they are modified to fit or if they are a aftermarket look alike.

Only reason I bring this up is because I was told the widebody rear bumper would not fit a narrow body car and I found out first hand that is NOT true, it bolts right up.

So if you have a NARROW body car and have made the gt2 skirts fit, please chime in!

The rear bumper covers are a different part number between C2 and C4 so I wonder how it bolted right up - where did they stuff the extra 44mm - maybe same part but with different numbers...but I doubt that. The GT2 skirts you've seen are probably aftermarket. Good luck in your hunt.

If the GT2 skirts fit C2S, I will be glad to take off my GT3TEK and bolt it on my car. Gixxer, you want to try first for rep points

The extra width of the wide body is in the rear quarter panels so I don't get how a wide body bumper cover bolts right up to a narrow body quarter panel. Look at how they connect and help me understand please.

I think his first hand knowledge is the other way around - wide body bumper fitted to narrow body car...but it doesn't matter because you still have to figure out what to do with the extra 44 mm. Something else is going on here - we never get all the facts.

I bolted up a OEM GT3 RS rear bumper onto my car. The sides sucked in a little bit more, but not enough for it not to line up. I can see why people say it doesn't fit, but I could have bolted it up and made my own side supports, but that was the only difference...

There was a guy on here who had a car for sale with a Turbo rear on a C2S, whiterock also saw this ad and that's what made me try it.

I'm not saying that the skirts will fit because it definitely is different in the front of the quarter panel. I just want to know where/who is making the "gt2 look" narrow body skirts.

Would be interesting to see a picture of how that came together. I think there's about 1 3/4" difference in width between the NB and WB bumpers so that must have gone somewhere.

Here is the skirts that I saw on a GT3 NB Rennlist, it looks like they are made for NB cars.

Wish somebody made them in urethane instead of carbon...

Those are interesting. Do you have any on-car photos? if it fits a NB GT3 then it should be compatible with any NB 997. Looks like it would mount on top of existing panel.

Nope, that's what I was hoping someone had...

I contacted Seibon and they don't have any either.

I can't justify being the guinea pig for $1k.

It was a GT2 rear bumper on a narrow body. He was selling the whole kit and swore it appeared to fit perfectly on his c2s.
