Introduction Post: My New (to me) '07 C2S

Hi everyone,

Finally got around to making an introduction thread that I'm really trying hard to not make into a build thread.

Bought the car about a month ago, and since then have done a mild Window tint and added a set of oem Turbo II widebody wheels . I was apprehensive about widebody fitment but they are just perfect, no regrets. Much more contemporary than the lobster claws and the color match is a welcome bonus.

The car is a Meteor Grey Carrera S with a whopping 39,000 miles on the clock. It has the sport seats, sport chrono, sport exhaust, pasm. Interior is black and extremely clean, but I don't have any good photos at hand at the moment.

Next plans= upgrade stock stereo to a more modern navigation/bluetooth unit. Also plan on removing the Carrera S badges and changing to "911S" with red S.

Thanks in advance for all the help I'm sure to get from you all!

Congrats - the wheels look great, I was looking at those for my '05 997 C2S, and I'm keen on your Carrera S to 911S badge swap.

Congrats and welcome! Meteor is a great color on the 997. Enjoy it and if you need anything don't hesitate to ask!

Those wheels do look great on that car. I personally wouldn't do the red "S" but to each his own.

Nice car!

Thank you!

It's funny to me how opinionated many (not you) are regarding the red S. I've heard "IT LOOKS LIKE A FRIGGING HYUNDAI" and "PORSCHE SHOULD HAVE MADE IT RED FROM THE FACTORY!!!!1!!"...and I don't think it's that big of a deal either way.

I ordered an extra S (the script will actually be 991 style, as it was cheaper) to paint red, and if I hate it I will be able to easily go back to my stock emblems.

We'll see

I'll take more fitment photos ASAP. The front fitment is identical to stock... Rears definitely stick out much further, but still not beyond the fender. It certainly gives the illusion of a wider rear end.

Previously had lobster claws... The turbo iis bring this thing into the modern world
