Tire Pressures for Track

Tire Pressures for Track
Hope everyone has been doing well, been a while for me on this forum as travels overseas have gotten the best of me...
Going to a local track soon for the first time and wanted to get some feedback on what recommended tires pressures are:
I'm running Michelin Pilot Super Sports 235 front and 305 rear on my 997.2. I use 33/37 cold ambient pressure currently and would like to know what others are running for track days cold and hot pressures etc. I've read many say they want to keep the hot running pressures under 40 during track time?
Any other first time track experience suggestions most appreciated! My oil and brake fluids, stock brake pads are all good to go..
Looking forward to getting back into my car and hearing from you guys/gals on the forum more often..

If it's your first time I would just start off with where you're at for the first session and see how it goes. I run the same tires an find that above 40 they start getting greasy. Unfortunately the only way to really stay on top of that is to bleed them down until you get flat tire warnings. I think I end up around 28/32 cold when all is said and done. Buy a small air compressor so you can add air at the end of the day for the ride home.
Don't worry too much. You'll have plenty to think about.
Have fun, and stay safe.
Slow in... fast out :-)
