Jack Pads - Something Easier to Use and Cheaper?
I keep losing these. How? I keep forgetting to take them down, or they are just misplaced in the garage... someplace.
So I think I am going to invent something similar but hopefully easier and quicker to use and half to 3/4 the price (ala disposable).
Do you guys own these? If so, how many sets do you own. If not, is the price preventing you from buying them? Or is money a "no object" when it comes to your beloved Porsche? Just doing a survey.
Thanks.

More specifically I like the weighted training pucks... not only because they are denser (a plus) but b/c they are orange allowing me to see them better under the car b/w my jack and lift point. I've never had one (std or training) experience yield failure even lifting a full-size SUV. Though I lose them constantly, at < $2 each I'd have to lose a couple dozen for just one set of fancy jack pads...

So that you don't break the plastics around the jack point.

I use cheap plastic ones from Ebay with the twist-lock that keeps it in place. I did forget to remove it once and drove around under the car for a couple of days before I remembered to remove it. The twist lock kept it in place though. Just search for "Porsche jack pad" and you'll find quite a few.
