Hi Guys,

After trying to figure out what the hell was wrong with my after-market LED tail lights, I came across the 'resistor' solution but the challenge now is to locate the correct wires to connect the resistor to.

Am guessing Porsche uses a wiring system with standard color codes and I was wondering if anyone could help me with identifying what the following wires do that are part of the tail light harness. I'm looking for the power & ground wires:

Red / Grey
Blue / Black
Green / Black
Orange / Black
Brown

I can help a little. Blue/black is the back up light. I only know that because I added a backup camera to my 997 and that was the one I needed to splice into to trigger the camera.

 

Thanks Slammp, one down, 4 to go. I think Brown is ground but I'm really looking for the parking light wire.
