AWE cats help

I just purchased a set of used cats from another member here but am unsure of the look of the cat. I remember AWE using welded HJS cats.... for the members here that have the AWE cats... do these look right?

What does the welded on tang say on it? AWE always, from what ive seen, inscribes their work with some sort of branding.

p.s. if you ever happen to need warranty repairs from AWE on anything.... best of luck... its like getting a blood transfusion.

The "can" on my pair circa 2008 seems to have a longer body and the weld beads are quite prominent.

This is what I figured. Thanks. It has awe plaque and serial but something looks strange about the catalyst portion of it.

from what i've seen in the pictures is that they might use different maufactures for their cats. it may have to do with cost/availability. just my observation.
give them a call with the serial number and see what they have to say

Fwiw, there was an option for 100 cell cats. Despite what was written above I always found them great to work with. Give them a call. They are a board sponsor and have recently been posting here.
