i am very picky when it come to my weekend toy, I would rather wait or pay a little more to make sure I buy the right item without future regrets. I think the TT would allow my daughter to cruise with me on the weekend, but I never was a fan of turbo engine. GT3 always been on my number one list but with another kid coming along, I afraid it become impractical in the near future (but I also have a sedan as DD). Thanks everyone for your feedback.

Sorry but I can't afford a GT2 for a weekend toy, TT is the most practical for my situation, knowing that we having another baby coming soon. Plus my daughter really enjoy sitting in the back of my C2S, but I never was a fan of turbo engine. GT3 is on my number one list but looking for a clean car in the west coast is extremely rare. Also, my kids will never have a chance cruising with daddy toy
Anyway, thanks everyone for your feedback and I will make sure post my future car on this thread for you.

The versatility of a 2 plus 2 should never be ignored. I take my youngest out for a little run in over boost and use the launch control all the time! Also for the occasional pickup of 2 kids. Can't do that with a GT3. You need to drive a turbo and see the little arrow come on next to the boost gauge number. I think about the GT3 too, as it just sounds so raw and is really the ultimate manual car. Oh, they also strip out the subwoofer with the seats, so if it means anything, the stereo is pretty limited.

I had the same debate but ultimately ended up going 997 TT because of the back seats so I could pick my kids up if necessary. Wanted a GT3 but with 2 young kids the odds of me ever getting to drive a GT3 are pretty low. With a modded TT you can have most of the fun of a GT3 with comfort and 2 extra seats. It gives you that many more chances to drive your car instead of letting it sit there.

Get a really good suspension package and tune for the price difference you'd pay for a GT3 and you get to have your cake and eat it too.
