Durametric Cable in West Los Angeles

Hi everyone,

I'm brand new on the forum. This is my 1st post. And I'm already asking for something.....

I'm by no means a mechanic, but I do simple maintenance on my 2007 997. My TPMS sensor batteries recently died and I do not want to pay a grand to have new sensors installed right now, maybe I'll suck up the cost when I need new tires. So I disconnected the TPMS unit in the trunk. Of course I still have the warning light on my dash. Might anyone in the West Los Angeles/Santa Monica area have a durametric cable that I can use to clear the codes? I'm willing to help you with a project or buy you a case of your favorite beer or something. Thanks!

I don't think you can disable the monitoring unit. You can clear the codes but they'll re-trigger the next time you start the car. I could be wrong but when mine died this is what I was told.

You'll probably need someone with the Durametric Pro to do this.

You can buy 4 TPM for about $250 + installation.
