Very nice almost, if not the same, like a 996TT.

Forget the hp, check the performance figures.

The Ruf compressor comes with warranty, but there are a lot of other differences if you study more than just the price.

dj, go for it. You won't regret it.
pm me your e-mail and I can send you something.

so what are the differences between the EVO and the RUF? besides the warranty?

I am only considering selling it to buy a house... you guys know how that goes. I feel sick just thinking about selling my car. As far as performance and reliability my EVO system is off the hook. On the highway, I am able to pull on my buddies stage 2 996 turbo with 510 hp, not to mention the turbo has 100 more ft./lbs of torque. This should tell you something about Evo's experience in SC'ing.

You also added the AWE exhaust system, which should have provided you with 30 hp at the wheels. I am impressed with how you built your car, you have very lightweight wheels with titanium lug nuts, the awe cats and headers, and the evo sc. There is really nothing more you can do to it performance wise.

I wish I knew what rwhp your car was putting down, it should have been around 430 @ the wheels with just the SC and with the addition of the headers and cats 460 or so shouldn't be out of the question.

How badly do you pull your buddies stage 2? When you raced before you had the AWE exhaust you said it was even. I guess the full exhaust made all the difference.

Check your thread about selling your car, there seems to be a bit of interest.

Will the EVO supercharger work with a tiptronic S transmission on a 997S? I have heard the tip may not take the extra hp and torque...
