Hi Everyone,

I finally purchased a 997 about a month ago. I ended my search that lasted well over a year. But it was worth it.
I bought a 2006 S with 24,000 miles. Absolutely love the car and driving the heck out of it on weeekends!

The car was pristine. It had a carbon fiber wrap on the hood, top, and gas tank door. I liked the look of it, but recently removed the hood wrap and left the top and gas tank door wrapped for now. It adds some contrast, and I will remove it in due time.

The wheels are plasti-dipped in black. I may decide to permanently paint the wheels black in the near future. I love the look of black with the dark grey paint.

One side note, the vehicle did come with a Fidelity Platinum warranty that lasts another 40,000 miles. The PPI showed a slight leak coming from the water pump. I had it replaced and Fidelity covered it with no problem. Yeah!
If any of you are considerig an aftermarket warranty, you may want to look into Fidelity. So far, so good....
I recently deleted the Carrera S badge and added the 911 badge. I like the look of the new badge as it is 'simple/ clean'.

Thanks for success story with respect to Fidelity. I run out of CPO at the end of the year and haven't decided whether to buy additional coverage or not. If so, Fidelity's reputation on the forums has it high on the list.

Very nice....I just moved to PHX 2 weeks ago from the northeast. I bought my 997 about a year ago, has 28k miles on it now. I added the Forgestar F14 wheels along with fabspeed intake and exhaust.

That aftermarket warranty sounds good....

 

Top wrap looks good, and the stock wheels in black are very nice as well!

personally not a fan of black wheels... I like to see the wheels, and black is hiding them... just my personal taste...


you can look at replacing the rockguard by some black one. (look at miami4me picture...the black thing between the side door and rear wheels)


personally I really like this mod!
