Odd TPC Issue

Odd TPC Issue
For the past few days I've had an odd issue with the TPMS system in my 2007 Turbo.
On random occasions, the TPC system would give an alert that a tire was -4.
When checking the actual pressure using the on-board system and an analog gauge, the pressures would all be correct.
I would go in to the system and reset it and all would be fine.
This has happened about 6 times over the past four days.
The odd thing is, its a different tire each time!!!
Any ideas?
Thanks
Drew
:::::Update:::::
On Friday, I let out about 10 psi per tire and re-inflated to the original pressure and the issue has not returned.

My TPMS are only about 7 months old.

Did you go OEM or aftermarket? I forget which aftermarket ones have been know to have issues.
Check to make sure you got the right application on the new ones. There are differences among the 911s, turbos, 4s, etc..

Please keep in mind, these have been working just fine for the past 8 months.
Yes there is a possibility that they have failed.
They work just fine until I shut off the vehicle or sometimes when I turn it on.
Strangely when they error out, it's always -4 psi and on random wheels.
This makes me think there maybe a system issue.
Side note, this week has been extremely hot. Every day had been above 100*

There are a ton of aftermarket sensors on the market, some good - some terrible. If you want to provide some information on what sensors you went with etc - or any sort of background information, that would help. If the pressures were reading fine before you replaced the TPMS sensors with the aftermarket ones, it's highly unlikely that it's a control unit/systems issue. Weather doesn't really effect the sensors in any tangible way.
They were supplied with a set of wheels from N4S motors.
These have been working just fine without issues since October of 2014.
By now all four sensors have given a random -4 psi fault. This isn't all at once, it's random.
This only happens when I turn off or on the vehicle. Not while driving.
When I reset the system they work just fine until the next random fault.

There's also a separate control unit for the sensors. I just learned that after I replaced my 4th one, all OEM. The sensors wouldn't come out of learning mode. I hope to get my car back tomorrow, without any #%$@ errors.

I got tired of mine yelling at me...so I just unplugged them, and coded them out. life is good now manually checking them once per week. I remember the president barking at us about checking tires to save gas. this being said, its the only advice ive taken from the poor guy.
Sucks OP. I hate dismounting tires before replacement level to screw with such an annoyance as this system.

I had a feeling they were the Blue ITMs... Hate to break it to you - but those fall into the terrible category. See if the vendor will warranty them since it's been less than a year. If they don't, and you want to replace those ITMs - go with the HUF sensors. We do about 2 sets of TPMS sensors a week here at the shop - our techs have seen em all.
