Quick DIY question
Can anyone help me remove this Power Plug? It is the power source to the Rear Deck lid located in the engine bay on the far right side. I just can't seem to figure out how the clicking in & out mechanism works and I don't want to snap anything. Thanks!!

If you flip it around so you can see into the back side of the connector, you will see there is piece of flat spring metal clip that engages a plastic "****" in the plastic housing. You need to insert a small flat blade screwdriver into the channel in the plastic housing where this clip is and pry it outwards to release it from the plastic **** (the best word I can think of for it at the moment) that is snaps onto. A twist of the screwdriver may be easier. If forget which one worked for me.
Here is a photo showing the thin metal clip as seen in the channel from the back side of the connector. You are seeing it end-on so it looks really thin but is is about quarter inch wide and maybe a little longer. If you look at it from the side though the hole in the connector you can see the "****" that it slips over that you have to release. Be sure not to pry outward so hard as to break the connector channel and be sure to try to pull on the plastic housings as much as possible and not the wires. You don't want to pull a wire out. Smaller hands are helpful since it is in a small space and you have to depress or twist the screwdriver at the same time that you pull on the housings. There is a rubbery water ring seal that makes it a little hard to pull them apart since it fits tightly in between the two parts.
Please see the annotated photo I've attached. Good luck!

+1 for storm. I remember these on an old S4 of mine. They tend to get a bit weak after multiple on/offs, so try not to turn the screwdriver too much to the side...Ive seen some folks snap em using too much force.
