I know they went with a water pump on mine that had a brass impeller rather than the OEM composite type. I believe is was a Graf water pump.

$890 including a new belt is the flat rate most shops use.

Wow...sounds too cheap! OEM pump or aftermarket? What about time to air bleed the cooling system too? Again... sounds way to cheap for a competent job.

Yep it's 4 hours labor charge and let's not forget about the two gallons of Porsche coolant which is about an additional $100 bucks and two of distilled water to do it the right way.

OEM pump and belt and a vacuum job to remove all the air. I use a very experienced shop in Tempe AZ and have been more than satisfied with their work for the last 10 years. As MYC2SPC said, it's a flat rate of 4 hours and at $100 an hour the numbers add up. Sun Coast sells the pump and gasket for less than $300. Can't remember the individual drive belt cost, but it's not that much.
