Smile Sport Classic Wheels - Finally

I'd been planning to do this for 6 years - and the first two of those were wishful thinking since they didn't even make the wheels yet.

Totally love them - I was worried about too much "black", but Mspeedster's pics showed how good they can look and inspired me to go for it.

I got the package from Suncoast, mounted and ready to install. Now if I can only get TPMS to hook up, all will be good - need to get out and drive it a bit I guess.

Ha - I was waiting for that.

However, I have to choose function over form with that - I already have enough challenges with driveways and parking lots around town as it is. Hard not to do it though - but common sense continues to say "don't do it".

Thanks - here's a set at what seems like an incredible price, not tires or TPMS, but for new - not bad...

hot nikon is infamous around these parts
Just spoke to Suncoast, they said +/- 4 weeks, wheels are in Germany.

I have a black car, too. Never thought I would want dark wheels, but then these showed up.

And new springs, new chin, new...

Mine arrived in 2.5 weeks from the Fatherland via Suncoast. Photos do not do them justice - they are really beautiful, and massive wide compared to my old 18's!

Fit and flushness: if I take a yardstick and hold it horizontal and touching the outermost part of the tire, which is just above the rim along the topside of the tire, the yardstick is away from the fender lip about 2mm - in other words, the widest part of the tire which is that edge near the rim protrudes just slightly beyond the fenders in the front and rear. I took the 5mm spacers I had on the 18s off for these as they are "incompatible". Yes, lowering would look even better.
