Computer problems?
I am about to buy Tubi mufflers for my 06, 3.6 997. Has anyone had experience with this product as far as creating code problems with their car?
TIA

I've done a little research by talking to the senior service advisor at the Porsche dealership, and a well respected indy shop owner. Both of these gentleman couldn't forsee any problems with the Tubi. On that basis I ordered a set. Should be installed the first few days of December. (merry Christmas to me)
I have never heard a Tubi on a 997, but have heard a similar system on a Ferrari. If mine sounds half that good I will die a happy camper.
A little pricey I know, but my wife's operation will just be put on hold. I mean, first things first for God's sake

Mike,
Thanks for the comments from an experienced Tubi user. I saw the Tubi advertisement on the Champion Motor Sports web page and it says the package "includes a cat". Hmmm.
A few people have said what is important is the distance between the fore and aft oxygen sensors, i.e., if the factory has engineered the distance at, say 18", it is critical the new O2 sensors be at that distance on the new set-up.
You say that is a duck imprinted on the muffler body...I thought it was a penguin. I guess my eyes are going too. LOL
Thanks bud!
