ebrake snapped and my 997 rolled into a hydrant!!!!!!
I don't know what happened, but I ran into my house and I hear a huge bang and turn around to see the car in a hydrant. Can anyone here recommend a good bodyshop in NY/NJ area? I need a new engine lid and reinforcement.

I fixed most of it already it my garage. I need a rear bumper and engine lid everything else is ok. Anyone on here know a good place to get the stuff painted? That is my only concern I dont want a MAACO paint job on my car..
I am going to show porsche the ebrake problem. I put the ebrake on b4 and was able to push my car with ease on flat surface.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about the mishap. Please keep us posted on what you find out about the e-brake.
On the parking in gear note: I always park in 2ND w/ handbrake on instead of 1st gear. It's more difficult for the car to roll off on it's own on a steep incline.
