I just ordered one. I'm from Sweden/Europe, so wouldn't make ay diffrence if I tagged along with you guys.

I contacted the company about doing a test fit and they have no problem with taking my car in. They focus on European makes and have a full service shop on-site so I am confident that they know what they're doing. Unfortunately they don't have a splitter currently in stock but have a batch on order. The sales rep will contact me as soon as they arrive. Hopefully HolmaN will get his installed and provide us some better photos. The shop's opinion is that there is little difference between 977.1 and 977.2 models, at least as far as the splitter is concerned. i hope they're right. Because of import costs and overseas shipping from the U.K. they don't have much room for discount, but I told them that anything they can do will be appreciated. More to follow as the saga unfolds. Wish us luck!

I just got an email back from Maxton and they confirmed that this WILL NOT FIT THE 997.2 another bummer, find something nice and it doesnt fit the .2

 

Hello all! I've lurked for quite sometime but never post. I recently installed the Maxton lip on my car last week..... I questioned it at first but I do like it and will hold me for now. It significantly lowers you front clearance (3"). Living in hilly Austin hasn't proved too challenging but I do have to approach my inclined driveway now at a 45deg angle.

 

I'm in for a group buy.....

 

look very nice with that stance, how is it holding up so far? I would have trouble going up my driveway even at an angle.

 

MkC2S, thanks! It hasn't been too bad but it does occasionally lightly rub on some entry's. I'll stick with it for now, until I perform a bumper swap.

Sexy as f. I'll make sure to provide pictures once i recive mine. I recived an email today saying that my order has been put on hold since they didn't have the glossy black in stock. They have however sent an order for production already and should be shipped out within a couple of days. I assume it will take another week or so for shipping to arrive depending on what way they decide to send it. (Shipped from poland)
