Maxton Front Chin Spoiler
#31
Sexy as f. I'll make sure to provide pictures once i recive mine. I recived an email today saying that my order has been put on hold since they didn't have the glossy black in stock. They have however sent an order for production already and should be shipped out within a couple of days. I assume it will take another week or so for shipping to arrive depending on what way they decide to send it. (Shipped from poland)
Sounds good. I honestly don't like that mine is glossy, so I may take some time to make it matte. I didn't have a choice, since I had purchased it from an individual who decided not to use it.

Hello all! I've lurked for quite sometime but never post. I recently installed the Maxton lip on my car last week..... I questioned it at first but I do like it and will hold me for now. It significantly lowers you front clearance (3"). Living in hilly Austin hasn't proved too challenging but I do have to approach my inclined driveway now at a 45deg angle.
Maybe it s the pics but looks a little too big for my taste... I ll be watching for more info... thanks for posting these pics for us.

Unfortunately, it does. In order for it to be properly installed, the bumper cover needs to be removed. The lip comes with some hardware (nuts & bolts) and glue that require you to drill holes though the lower area of the bumper.
LMK if you have any further questions.

Agreed with the last post as I kinda stated before.

I'm in the same boat as the two of you but the standard bumper on the 997.1 without a lip, really bothers me. The way it rakes up like a boat/overbite just doesn't do it for me, I came across this one for a deal and figure it will hold me until I swap front bumpers.
Also I didn't like the gloss, so I made it matte and a bit more subtle.

I have no idea if this could work on a 997.1, but just in case:

I recived my spoiler about a week ago or two. I ordered the glossy black one.
Can't really say I'm a big fan of it now when I've bought it. I haven't installed it yet and not quite sure if I'm going to.
The spoiler lip itself is kinda hallow. Not even hallow as there's nothing under the spoiler.
Anyhow, I'm currently thinking about selling, but can't decide if I'll have it installed during the spring. Lift required to install it as I have to bolt it on and make holes in the front bumber, and that's wuite hard, having the car standing on the ground with lowering springs installed.
Edit: Got bored and decide to try after all. The spoiler does take up a lot of space under the car. I attached it with 3 philips screws just to see what it looks like, instead of the bolts etc that came with the package. Can't really bother drilling in the bumper incase I don't like it.
See and judge by yourselves, I'm not sure if I can have it installed with my lowering springs. I live in sweden and sweden loves speedbumps....
