Clear film to protect rear wheel arc from chips?
The wheel arc behind the rear tires is prone to paint chips. I just had my rear bumper re-sprayed, so I'd like to minimize this. I've heard of folks applying clear film to this area.
Can the film be contured to curve around the arc lip?
Where would one obtain such a small amount of clear film?
(I don't want to buy a whole multi-yard roll just to use for this small application; does it come in smaller quantities?).

Yes, it contours just fine. My arches are done with clear bra. Ask yourself if you are that fussy to have it installed in that location. Touch up paint wont generally be detected in those areas.
Mines a winter driven vehicle on occasion when roads are clear, so a must have for me. Plenty easy to self install also.

Pretty sure you can order some online. Xpel is fairly easy to work with.
The new 3M film is unreal quality.
You'll also need a rubber squeegee to help apply the film.
I obtained mine from a friend whom owns a tint business.
I also applied it to my painted center console....undetectable. I like how thin the xpel material is. The 3M is a tad thicker.
The 3M smokes Xpel's clarity though IMO.
