Pics Of My Porsche If Anyone Is Interested

So had this for a few weeks now, it is nothing like I've driven before.

Its 2007 tip non S which I know is not everyone's cup of tea but it was what my budget and daily requirements wanted.

Have had the usual sort of mods.

Front DRL replaced, rear tail lights replaced to LED ones.

Front headlight bulbs replaced to 6000k Osram. Looks very clear and white compared to the yellowish tint.

P O R S C H E lettering on the rear - just felt it looks a lot better and adds definition.

I have BBS porsche alloys at the moment gun metal colour which I am considering to somehow change to silver/chrome (any tips or advice would be appreciated).

Also gundo hack is on the cards, car sounds amazing from 5-7k so just want a bit more noise at mid range without getting a loud low range.

Happy to hear any other recommendations.

Comments would be welcome and also is there anything else worth checking out with the car as I have some warranty left?

Looks good. Congrats. Warranty items would depend a lot on mileage. Did you have a PPI done prior to purchase? Any pics from the side?
Oh and there is nothing wrong with a non "S". I absolutely love mine.
Its a 911

Looks well kept. Congrads! The only thing I see is that your steering wheel is on the wrong side...

I'll take some side pics.

And no I was getting a good price and warranty so I didn't bother with PPI which was going to cost me a bit.

Is there any other 'soft' mods you would recommend. Soft as is nothing too serious or engine related.

look nice, add a front lip & side skirts. Remove the P O R S CH E badge (leave that for the 991) but that's just me.

good looking car. not digging the extra 'porsche' badge from the 991 though.

Yeah I noticed a lot of people not liking that. Why is that? Is it because I look as though I'm trying to be something I'm not perhaps or does it just not look good in your opinion.

I like the way it looks on the newer Porsches not just 991 but all ranges, I think it gives a little bit more definition to the rear and it felt plain looking before.

Wow fantastic.

I was going to run mine as a daily driver as but I'm on the fence if I should keep my BMW. Some roads in the UK are not great so I cant fly through with the Porsche even though I have PASM.

Amazing you've had yours since new I cant believe how excellently priced the new 997s were seems like such a bargain compared to todays prices.

How often would you recommend I service?

Excluding track days, I normally get an oil change done every 6 months. Do I get more frequent changes or is this about right?

Would you also recommend I change anything as a preventative measure? Its 2007 70k miles.

Don t remember if 2007 is oil every 10 or 20,000 miles?
check belt, air filter, cabin air filter, spark plugs depending on when last done, check brake pad left, maybe brake fluid change. Check the coolant fluid tank for leaks/cracks. See how tires are wearing (so maybe an alignment if needed) Look around for any signs of leaks etc... That be a good start!

i think i'm not a big fan of the big block lettering even on the 991. in doesn't seem to flow into the soft lines of the 997 and doesn't quite match the 'carrera' badge underneath. but to each is own, as long as you like it, it's the only opinion that matters.

Looks good! I did the same with the porsche lettering, but removed the Carrera. Looks too busy. Look at fister exhaust, put one on my car and sounds great.
