Red face Shipping my 997 from NYC to LA

Hello, Sixspeeds fellows

I'm moving out to LA and need to ship my beloved 997 with me. Can you please share good/bad experiences with shipping companies?

Also have a few questions as I've never done this before.

- roughly how long does it usually take?
- what is the usual rate?

try contact board sponsors (Intercity & Angels Moving Autos). There are numerous threads about shipping coast to coast & cost.

I used Intercity to ship from NY to TX back in 2010 and everything went smoothly, I'd recommend their services.

I've used Intercity, Passport and Thomas Sunday in the past coast to coast, or to AZ/NV. Only good experiences on many processionals. No so, with Plycar. Only used them based on availability as needed to get car shipped quickly. My mistake.

I used www.schumachercargo.com/ to ship from Savannah, Ga to Italy. They were very responsive and professional. No issues. I put 2 cars (my 997 and SUV) in a 40ft container for around $3k total door to port.

good luck

TepsonTech,

Please note that we are the actual carrier and not a broker. Our trucks, our drivers, hauling your car for you. If we can help you with your move please let us know.
