I washed my car for the 2nd time since I bought it yesterday! Funny thing is that it didn't look any cleaner after I washed it. It's been almost 3 months since I bought it and I now have 1700 miles on it. Part of the reason is that I haven't had a lot of time to drive it but the main reason is that it's silver. I know it's not the flashiest or the best color out there but it certainly is the easiest to maintain. If I still had the triple black 996 cab, I probably would have washed it 12-15 times during the same 3 months regardless of whether or not I drove it.

My "No Washing" routine

Rejex
California Car Duster after every drive
Wheel Wax on the wheels
Hand detailing the wheels after every day of driving
Pinnacle Crystal Mist with microfiber towels

All our cars are silver. It's the only color I will buy because it's never dirty.

Doctor K is infamous around these parts
He is a doctor.
I have had my Artic Silver for almost 4 months and only washed it one time. I use an air compressor to blow the dust off, the Calif duster, 4 coats of Zaino and spray detailer finish the job.
I didn't fall in love with the silver at first, but now I'm a believer.
Two of my previous Porsches were black...nuff said!

Yep AS is easy to care for, but I quickly grew bored with it. So I flipped the car, ie it cost me more than the usual obscene depreciation rate one expects with a P car. My last ride was seal grey, very forgiving and multi hued depending on lighting. Waiting on an atlas cab now... I'll be seeing a lot of my detailer I guess.
