Jersey Shore Porsche Indy- leak in my car

I am in a 997 cab. I posted a prior thread where one of my control modules got ruined due to water leaking under my driver seat. The mechanic couldn't fix the leak. I went to a body shop that had no idea where the drains are or hot or trouble shoot the issue.

Can anyone recommend someone around the jersey shore, ocean township, that can handle this issue for me?

Did you check the door drains like I suggested on your previous thread?

Hi FlaHeel - Thank you. I am not too good with my hands and did not want to screw up the car, so I ended up hiring "the Water Doctor". My body shop recommended that I call him up. He did check the door drains, based on me telling him about your recommendation (He otherwise had no clue about the 997 - he couldnt even open/close the windows). But he did open the side panel and found a pool of water when he tested it with a hose sitting in the tray in the door. He basically had to clear the drain which was completely clogged. Cost me $200, which I am sure i couldve done myself if i had a pair to explore the car.

I would have liked to go to someone that knows the P cars in and out, but this is what I got.

I highly recommend Bodymotion Racing in Ocean Township on Cindy Lane. Ask for Ace, he'll take care of you. Porsche guys to the core!

Why not take it to a dealer? That's the first thing I would do.

Glad it's fixed. There are some really good DIY articles on this forum and if you use the search function normally something will show up. Good luck.

Not sure it is fixed. To the OP: Water in the door suggests the door membrane is leaking. This either has to be reglued or if the membrane is tore/ripped/split, replaced and this too involves gluing it in place.

Bodymotion is good. Bit proud of their work ($$$) but they seem to do a decent job.
