I am having into toon coils and plugs being replaced. Are there any mod's or upgrades that I might want to consider while they are in there?

Nothing to really upgrade as far as the ignition and surrounding area is concerned, unless you remove the headers for easy access, then a header/exhaust upgrade will save you additional labor in the future. Otherwise just inspect around the area. I found a cam sensor leak when I did my plugs and coils, so I replaced a seal on the driver side.

In the past year or so, Porsche upgraded the coil packs with a thicker base that's better insulated and shoukd be less prone to cracking. This newer version requires longer fasteners. Might want to make sure you or your mechanic is using these. If you buy them from Porsche, the longer fasteners are included in the box - not sure if you buy them elsewhere.
