Tubis finally.

Mika, Saw you were browsing the board. I finally had my Tubi mufflers installed yesterday. Very nice improvement in sound, car seems to rev quicker, no resonance at cruising RPM (3000) and car runs 8 degrees cooler. A little lighter weight than OEM. Couldn't be happier. Tech said the install was very easy with no modifications required. Its like getting a new car. No off/on switching to fool with...its always on.

What's up Doc?

Awesome! Congratulations! I know how you've been looking forward to this mod. Sounds like you're relly happy with it.

Any chance we can get pics/sounds or video clips? Not too annoyingly loud inside the car?

I'm gonna have to follow suit here pretty soon me thinks! I swear, I never thought I'd change a thing on my 997. So much for that!!

Anyways, congrats again, and enjoy!

I'll make one comment re the audio clips I have heard on numerous brands in general and Tubi specifically: Listen to the system you are looking at in person. The audio on the Tubi was misleading.....much better in person.

Take two aspirin and call your Porsche independent tech in the morning.

Talking happy days Doc sound is important

Hey Doc K,
Me and Synergy have been trying to decide which exhaust we are going to get in 2006. This mod is an important addition to our 997... I like the PSE, Fabspeed is too loud.
Hmmm maybe the Tubi is worth checking into. I like how you described it....Theres a guy with the Fabspeed he says his neighbors are ready to throw a rock at him LOL... BTW, why does your car run 8 degrees cooler? Come on down for our next N Cali drive so we can see your car.....
Synergys wife will be driving on the next event....COOL!!!!

Remember, I am running only headers and nothing else. The rest are bypass pipes. If you install Fabspeed's Maxflo mufflers, you should be ok.

Mark996.
Two different cars and different results. My seat of the pants dyno tells me different and thats all I care about. Sounds from the Tubi make the whole system worth the money.
