cabriolet vs coupe

what is the difference ? I know thwe Porsche engineers hate the cabriolet as they reckon it loses to much of its stiffness and does not compare to the coupe as a drive..but is this something you would notice only on the track or is it noticable on the road ?

The big thing that I notice on my 05 cab is the big fat smile on my face when driving with the top down. All kidding aside, I have owned many convertibles (other brands) and the body on the p car cab is pretty stiff with little role.

They didn't have a TT cab when I bought mine or I would have gone with a cab. Nothing like an open cockpit on a sunny day

from a boxster s to a 2005 997 cab to a 2006 997 s cab (en route) a cab gives you more pleasure for the money.

Cabs are more fun especially if you get a lot of sunny days. The 911 cab is about as good as a softtop can be. It's well insolated, seals out water and noise, fully automatic, very reliable, offers excellent wind buffeting w the windstop, and extremely safe (pop bars & side airbags).

The only down side is occasional rattle, more maintenance/care for the softtop. As for chassis flex, it's very solid compared to any other cabs I've driven (mustang, rx-7).

You should test drive a cab and coupe to see for yourself, especially on a nice day.
