traffic ticket nightmare
Boy, I think I have no luck with traffic tickets.
Last Feb 05, when I got my new 997, I got ticketed for having a old license plate in the bumper and registration paper displayed on the back window while driving on the NJ Turnpike. I was able to fight the ticket because the policeman was wrong and NJ law requires both old lic plate and registration paper to be displayed.
Well, I got unlucky today again. I was in Hoboken this afternoon, and I got ticketed for avoiding a speed bump, the policeman said that I crossed the double line to the other lane for improper passing. This is ridiculous. It's a 4 point ticket for $81. Man, I think these guys got too much time on their hand. I'm going to court to fight this, at least get to reduce the points.

I know its not realistic but you should move to Germany. It's not uncommon for me to blow the doors off a politzei doing 150+ mph. Normally they are driving at 80 mph (130km) because that is the "recommended safe speed limit" but when you are on unlimited autobahn you can do as fast as you like. PS.1 year now and ZERO tickets.
