My 2006 Carrera 4S arrived - can you say ORANGE!

Best 997 I've seen, Aftermarket looks from the dealer is the best way to describe it.
How does the "Paint to sample" Work. Are you limited to a more extensive color grid or can you litterally give them any paint color/code and have them match it ?

Thanks for all the positive feedback and comments guys! Seem's people like the colour!
I looked on the "order board" for all the cars that my Porsche dealer has on order - with a very few exceptions they are all either, grey, silver, or black - JEEZ get a life guys - buy what you WANT not what you think they next guy MIGHT want!
ONELOVE,
Paint to sample is as the name suggests - you give them a colour and they paint it to match! If they have painted a car before to your colour (as with mine - "Pure Orange" is an old 70's Porsche colour) then the process adds around four months to the build - IF on the other hand it's a totally new colour then they need to do tests to ensure colour fastness and that there won't be weird reactions to some of the plastics etc. - In this case it will add around nine months to the build!!

That orange and the black wheels are just a perfect combination! Car looks great! Congradulations! And if possible we would like to see pictures of here which arent in a dealership!

Love it!
I´ve had a thing for orange for many years, and the old classic 911-colors are cool. Viper Green is another favorite.
(But add some black spray to the inside of your wheels)
