Yes, it's only a slight drop. This is before on stock C2.

That's close to where I ended up as far as ride height. I maybe a tad lower in front. Report back your final settings on the clickers when you get a chance and how you like the ride quality. This thread will be helpful for others.

Recently saw a post of the new Ohlins R&T which would have been a great choice also albeit a tad more costly. Both share very similar compression/rebound technology as well as having pre-load separate from ride height. Very important feature since using pre load to establish ride height is an inferior method.

With these two economically priced coilover options I'm baffled as to why anyone would consider lowering springs on OE shocks. Twice the effort to install, zero adjustability, differing spring rate than what the OE shock was designed for and you end up with a used shock now being asked to perform outside it's window...

Great question. I bought a set but have yet to install due to time. I have the Bose Sub box to deal with as well. Will post up results once I get them in. As far as "needed or nice to have", I would say nice to have for sure unless your tracking the car and plan to change settings from your daily driver to track setup frequently. Once you have your settings for daily driving you won't be touching the clickers.

On another note the usable adjustable range is far less than the rated 30 clicks. I found that within 8-10 clicks +- from middle was it.

I should've purchased and had installed the extenders installed. I need to adjust the dampers on the front and I'm getting some minor squeaking - assuming it's just an adjustment and nothing else.

Glad to help! Let us know how the install goes and a pic of the installed extenders when you get a chance.

Killa - I responded to your PM. Agreed and my indy stated the same.

Like I stated, I love the ride height - perfect.

what settings

Reviving this thread. My BC BR series coilovers arrived today and looks like I will do a DIY install with some friends over the weekend. I will have reference to prior posting here on how to install DIY. My question is for those who do not track their cars and will be used mainly of leisure weekend driving or occasional out of town trips, what settings (number of clicks) from scratch was your sweet spot? I've read 12 clicks front and 15 clicks rear. I didn't get the extenders and will follow others who did not install the sub woofers until satisfied with height and dampening.

This is my current height now on Eibach pro-kit and I just want a slight drop on existing height, maybe 1 finger gap or level between top of tire and fender but not tucked in.

I'm at 12 clicks and it's terrific. It rides better than OEM on H&R lowering springs. The one thing is you lose PASM but it's not something I miss. Good luck with the install.

Thanks. On dampening i'm at 20 clicks front and 23 clicks rear from full soft to hard settings. On height, i'm 14 turns front and 20 turns rear from factory default.

Hi. Reviving this thread to see if there is any long term or new feedback on these coilovers. Certainly an impressive cost savings over Bilstein or KW.
