Chef: who'd you buy from? Did they deal at all?

Yes we dealt. It was with the Exchange and it was a package of things that amounted to what I was looking for.

Car is now Seal Gray and in the system for March build.

Congrats. Best of luck getting that pup in a timely manner, so that you can enjoy the spring and summer...

I'm still stuck on the launch C4S deal. Three dealers are offering 5% off MSRP. One local guy (whom I favor) _refuses_ to go any lower, #2 says he can potentially find some add'l discount "when I'm ready to buy". Well, #2 and I have been dealing on via email; didn't really want to drive to middle Wisconsin, but I would consider doing this to save an add'l 3K if he'll do it.

#3 is in California, Bay Area. Too far to drive for no savings...

I guess I have to show up with a cashier's check for my offered amount _and_ bring my personal checkbook along to make up the difference.

They definitely are precious items, these P-Cars. I wish I didn't want one so badly <yeah, sure...>

Chef ordered his car at Porsche Exchange in Highland Park, IL.

I've been shopping at MW in Barrington, Fox Valley in Appleton, WI and Sonnen Porsche in Mill Valley, CA.

I bought my car from Rodney Bell at Motor Werks last week. its in a truck being shipped to me in LA.
The LA dealers didn't have any cars near my spec, not to mention they were for the most part stupid and arrogant.

DSTRIMBU:
The best deal out of all Illinois dealers bar none. I canvassed them individually. The best trade in price too.
